Default behaviors in SharePoint can be… !
Okay, so in the recent past we lost our SharePoint Admin, leaving the responsibility to myself and my boss. Now my boss has retired (happy for her I promise) and now I must hold the reigns.
First thing I notice is Access Request Emails are going where? Yep, to the person who created the site! Now, 500 plus sites later, I have updated them all to go where? Oh no, not to me, but to a generic support email so this won’t have to happen again. Now we just have to implement a practice of always updating this when new sites are requested in which permissions are not inherited, or when ever we break inheritance on a site.
